August 2018 is the turning point for me. I had been in the gym steadily and was in a cutting phase at the time. I was 140 pounds with very little muscle mass however I was strong. You can see here i have 225 pounds loaded on the Smith machine that I could get up about 4 or 6 times. What I wanted was to increase my lean body mass and increase my strength as well. After reading and researching for weeks I decided to go for a "lean bulk". Essentially getting my calories from clean low GI sources. Again after much debate taking my current budget into consideration I went with a diet containing a complete protein, high mineral, high fiber and vegetarian. Brown rice and a variety of legumes. The amino profiles of each brown rice and legumes are incomplete proteins however when combined they become complete. This is my methodology behind gaining size while staying as lean as possible. The goal is to create a calorie surplus of 3500 calories per day which means you have to eat alot, anywhere from 4 to 5 meals alone. To note I was also getting calories from a cold cereal as well, usually regular cheerios or life cereal as they have the lowest added sugar. My day will now include;

1. Cardio - 30 minutes

2. Warming up - 30 minutes

3. 3 to 4 compound excersices - 30 minutes

4. Calesthenics - 30 minutes
